5 Young Players I'm Excited To Watch In The 2025/26 Season I’ve always loved watching beautiful, exciting football—the kind that makes you stop and say “wow.” As an Arsenal fan who grew up idolizing Sergio Busquets and that iconic Barcelona side, it’s no surprise I’m drawn to intelligent, elegant football that feels like art. But I also have a deep appreciation for the other side of the game, where it’s all about impact. No frills, just pure effectiveness: goal scorers, dominant midfielders, players who get the job done with ruthless consistency. That can be just as thrilling in its own way. More than anything, though, I love watching young talents grow, seeing the raw potential, the flashes of brilliance, and watching them evolve into top players. There’s something special about following that journey from promise to greatness. With the 2025/26 season around the corner, here are some players I can’t wait to watch. Some are stars, some are just emerging, but all of them have that...

Who is Arsenal's New Defender Christhian Mosquera?

Who is Cristhian Mosquera? Arsenal have signed young Spanish defender Cristhian Mosquera. The former Valencia man is one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe and Arsenal have managed to secure his services on a deal initially worth £15m.  Cristhian Andrey Mosquera Ibargüen, born on June 27, 2004, in Alicante to Colombian parents, is a Spanish centre-back who has risen through the ranks of Valencia’s academy to become a standout in their first team. Standing at 1.88 m, Mosquera began his athletic journey in basketball and futsal, later switching to football. He initially played as a winger before finding his calling in central defence. At just 17 years old, Mosquera made his senior debut for Valencia in January 2022, becoming one of the youngest centre-backs to feature for the club. He has since become a regular starter, surpassing 90 appearances and playing a key role throughout the 2024–25 La Liga season. Internationally, he has worn the Spain shirt at every level from U...

Players I Think Aren't Spoken About Enough

Players I Think Arent Spoken About Enough Football is packed with big-name stars, but there are many talented players who don’t always get the recognition they deserve. In this article, I’m focusing on players under 25 who consistently stand out with their performances but often fly under the radar. These talents are making important contributions to their teams and have the potential to make a big impact, yet they aren’t always in the spotlight. I’ll be highlighting their skills and why they deserve more attention in the world of football. Goalkeeper: Noah Atubolu Club: Freiburg Age: 22 Choosing the goalkeeper for this list was a tough decision, Lille’s Lucas Chevalier being a top talent who i originally considered. However, due to Chevalier’s standout performances in the Champions League, including his incredible Man of the Match display against Real Madrid and Lille’s progress to the knockout stages, he has already gained significant recognition on the global stage...

One Player Each Premier League Club Should Sign

Arsenal As an Arsenal fan, I can confidently say our defense is incredible. Gabriel Magalhães and William Saliba form one of the best center-back pairings in the world, and we have plenty of depth in full-back positions with players like Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber, and Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, Arsenal's attack this season is largely being carried by Bukayo Saka, who has been one of the Premier League's standout performers. The likes of Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard have struggled to match his brilliance, leaving fans calling for an attacking signing in January. With Saka now facing a potential extended absence due to a hamstring injury, the need for reinforcements is even more urgent. Antoine Semenyo, a 24-year-old forward at Bournemouth, could be the answer. He’s a powerful, direct player who can cover all three attacking positions while Saka is out, and he could also challenge for a starting spot under Mikel Arteta. Aston Villa Unai Emery ...
