The former Valencia man is one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe and Arsenal have managed to secure his services on a deal initially worth £15m.  Cristhian Andrey Mosquera Ibargüen, born on June 27, 2004, in Alicante to Colombian parents, is a Spanish centre-back who has risen through the ranks of Valencia’s academy to become a standout in their first team. Standing at 1.88 m, Mosquera began his athletic journey in basketball and futsal, later switching to football. He initially played as a winger before finding his calling in central defence. At just 17 years old, Mosquera made his senior debut for Valencia in January 2022, becoming one of the youngest centre-backs to feature for the club.
